On 1 March 2025 the Dilworth Trust Board will formally acknowledge and apologise to its community for the abuse that occurred at Dilworth School
Although the Dilworth Community Acknowledgement and Apology will be livestreamed and can be viewed later as a video on this website, Dilworth understands and welcomes in-person attendance by members of its community who have been impacted by the abuse and wish to physically be present at the time the apology is offered.
Dilworth will also be hosting a live-feed viewing at a separate conference facility (in the vicinity of Dilworth School) for anyone that does not wish to attend the Acknowledgement and Apology on the grounds of Dilworth School.
Dilworth Trust Board will offer financial travel support for survivors living outside the Greater Auckland region (the area governed by Auckland Council) who have registered with the independent Dilworth Redress Programme.
Mileage will be reimbursed to the redress applicant upon application, following the apology.

If you are registered with the Dilworth Redress Programme, wish to attend the Dilworth Acknowledgement and Apology in person 1 March 2025, and have any questions or concerns about travel contributions, or arranging travel, please write to [email protected]. Note this email will not be monitored from from 21 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.
Be advised that two large concerts are scheduled for 28 February and 1 March that will likely impact on travel and accommodation. It is therefore strongly advised that travel bookings are made as soon as possible.
